Northeast Medical Group: Medical App
Northeast Medical Group (NEMG) is a leading healthcare provider in Singapore, offering comprehensive family medicine, health screening and telemedicine services across its network of clinics. With a commitment to accessible and modern healthcare, the group sought to elevate its digital patient experience.
In this project, the role involved leading both project management and UI/UX design for the NEMG mobile app. Key responsibilities included defining product requirements, shaping user journeys and crafting a clean, intuitive interface that supports essential patient tasks. The app streamlines appointment booking, clinic check-ins, dependent management and teleconsultation with e-medicine fulfilment. This work helped transform NEMG’s digital ecosystem into a more seamless, user-friendly platform that enhances convenience for patients and supports operational efficiency across the organisation.

Phased Progression
The NEMG app advanced through a disciplined multi-phase development approach.
Phase 1A focused on completing the onboarding and sign-up flow, supported by the successful migration of user data into the app’s database. This phase also introduced check-in and queue functionalities, enabling patients to obtain queue numbers both on-site and remotely.
Phase 1B expanded the core experience with appointment booking, teleconsultation capabilities, and integrated payment features.
Phase 2 introduced e-medicine services and medicine refill functions, completing the app’s ecosystem of digital healthcare touchpoints.
