Maggiano
Maggiano was established through a comprehensive, hands-on process that brought the concept from vision to reality. The startup journey encompassed every aspect of business development — from registration and licensing to crafting the brand name, visual identity, and marketing direction. The name “Maggiano” was chosen to embody warmth, authenticity, and the spirit of Italian dining, while the branding and photography captured its timeless elegance and approachable character.
In collaboration with the head chef, the operational setup was designed to ensure both efficiency and quality, from kitchen workflows to supplier coordination. Marketing efforts focused on storytelling and community engagement, positioning Maggiano as a welcoming Italian dining destination in East Village. Every element — from the logo to the dining experience — was thoughtfully curated to reflect a passion for craftsmanship, simplicity, and genuine hospitality, establishing a strong foundation for the brand’s lasting presence.

Menu Design
The Maggiano menu design reflects warmth, authenticity, and Italian charm. Using deep red and cream tones, it balances tradition with modern appeal. Clean typography paired with handwritten Italian phrases adds personality, while a clear layout guides diners effortlessly through the selections.
Photography highlights signature dishes like truffle fries and pizza, evoking freshness and comfort. Every visual element — from icons to spacing — was thoughtfully crafted to express Maggiano’s spirit of handmade, honest Italian cuisine, creating a cohesive brand experience that feels both welcoming and genuine.

Marketing Collaterals
The thought process behind this flyer design centers on creating warmth, authenticity, and appetite appeal. The bold typography for “15% OFF” ensures instant attention, while the handwritten script for “opening special” softens the tone, adding a personal, homemade touch. The food photography grounds the design in realism, making it visually appetizing and trustworthy. Listing Italian dish names around the border subtly reinforces the restaurant’s authenticity, while the clean layout and clear contact details ensure practicality and readability for quick audience engagement.
