Beam+ Labs: Onboarding
BEAM+ LAB is a Hong Kong–based Web3 entertainment studio that revitalises classic film and cultural IP through blockchain technology. The platform blends cinematic heritage with digital ownership, creating new ways for audiences to engage with archival content.
The onboarding UI was designed to make this ecosystem accessible from the first interaction. Key screens simplify wallet setup, profile creation, and verification into a clear, intuitive flow. The visuals reflect the brand’s futuristic, film-inspired identity while reducing friction and user uncertainty. The result is a streamlined entry point that guides newcomers smoothly into BEAM+ LAB’s digital universe.

Onboarding efficiency has significantly improved with the integration of multiple crypto wallet login options, including MetaMask and other Web3 providers. Allowing users to authenticate directly through their preferred wallet removes the need for manual account creation, reduces drop-off, and shortens the overall onboarding time.
This approach eliminates friction points—such as password setup, email verification, and repeated data entry—while enhancing user trust through familiar, secure wallet interactions. By streamlining authentication into a one-click connection flow, the platform now supports faster entry, higher conversion rates, and a more seamless transition into the BEAM+ LAB ecosystem.
Design System
The BEAM+ design system establishes a futuristic, cinematic identity through a dark UI foundation paired with vibrant neon accents. Core colours and gradients draw from sci-fi visuals, creating a sense of mystery and digital depth. Typography is structured with a clear hierarchy using the modern, geometric “Gilroy” typeface to maintain readability against high-contrast surfaces.
